AI adoption among CSOs in central and southwestern Uganda

Despite challenges like limited infrastructure and digital literacy, CSOs are beginning to adopt AI to improve operational efficiency, resource mobilization, and outreach. There is strong interest among
CSOs in gaining AI skills, indicating a high demand for capacity-building initiatives.

Therefore, we thank Kampala Analytica and GIZ Civil Society in Uganda support Program for giving SSF an opportunity to understand artificial intelligence and its relevance to civil society organizations (CSOs) in advancing sustainable development goals (SDGs), have hands on experience in using AI tools for specific applications, such as fundraising, content creation, data analysis, and social accountability as well as exploring different strategies on how AI implementation can be done in our organization.
